Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in the city of New York on 22 November 1984) - Her versatility in acting has earned many accolades for her work in dramas from the past to thrillers and adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was twins with the younger sibling. When she was a kid she was able to begin performing. Actually, at 7 years old she was already auditioning for several commercials. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. She made her debut as a film actress in North (1994) aged nine. She was just eight when she was a part of Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson made her debut in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film that follows orphaned siblings as they run away. The Horse Whisperer (1998) Johansson, who plays the role of a teenager with a an ailment, was well-loved by the critics. Smith was offered her first gig acting at the age of six years old through the support of her parents. She created a commercial with Dannon. As with many actresses who started out, she chose to refine her skills in the field of theatre. In addition, she worked on other projects throughout the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first stage performance.
