Dina Meyer was born and raised at Forest Hills Queens New York. When she was finishing her junior year, she relocated from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Her sister is younger of Gregory as well as an older brother, named Evan. Her first experience in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling between the ages of nine and 16. Her acting career began in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors who received such education. Her first acting role came with Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out in Los Angeles. Then, she got the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts, establishing herself as an athletic actress. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
