Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake (born July 23 in 1976) is the NASCAR reporter, as well as college football and basketball reporter at Fox Sports. Previously, she worked for ESPN and contributed to SportsCenter for pre- and post-game coverage. She also worked as an official sideline reporter for SEC on ESPN basketball games in addition to college football games. Spake was an additional reporter for SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June to November 2005) and was a reporter in its first (February to June of 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake and Marty Smith. Prior jobs on the air include WCCB (Charlotte, North Carolina) as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
